Far Eastern University is pleased to announce the appointment of Rodericko “Olsen” Racela as the new head coach of the FEU Men’s Basketball Team.
Olsen had a distinguished 18 year playing career in the PBA, winning 9 titles with Purefoods and San Miguel as well as being a five time mythical team member.
He was also the head coach of the Energen Philippine youth basketball team from and the Petron Blaze Boosters in the PBA from Currently, he serves as an assistant coach to Tim Cone with Barangay Ginebra.
Olsen will take over from his brother Nash Racela, who had a successful 4 year stint with the Tamaraws. Nash will remain as a consultant to the FEU basketball program.
