कर्जमाफी ते दिवसा वीजपुरवठा! विविध मागण्यांसाठी रघुनाथ पाटलांचा एल्गार, 19 मार्चला पुण्यात धरणे आंदोलन

Raghunath Dada Patil : रघुनाथ दादा पाटील (Raghunath Dada Patil ) यांच्या शेतकरी संघटनेच्या (Shetkari sanghtana) वतीने राज्यभरात 19 फेब्रुवारी ते 19 मार्च दरम्यान संपूर्ण कर्जमुक्तीसाठी जागृती अभियानाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. या अभियानाची सांगता पुणे येथे 19 मार्च रोजी एक दिवसीय धरणे आंदोलनाने होणार असल्याचे मत शेतकरी संघटनेचे अध्यक्ष रघुनाथदादा पाटील यांनी पंढरपूर येथे व्यक्त केले. या संपूर्ण कर्जमुक्ती अभियानाच्या माध्यमातून एक महिना राज्यभरातील विविध भागातील शेतकऱ्यांचे जनजागृती केली जाणार असून, यामध्ये सर्व शेतमालावरील निर्यात बंदी उठवावी असेही ते म्हणाले.

DAIRY FARMERS in Maharashtra are up in arms over the decision of dairies to reduce the procurement prices of milk.
Sachin Patil, leader of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana, from Pandharpur taluka of Solapur district, said dairies in their area have decided to pay farmers Rs 35 per litre for milk with per cent fat and per cent SNF (solid not fat) — a sharp drop from the Rs 38 per litre they commanded just a day back.
This price drop, Patil said, comes even as farmers talk about a drastic dip in milk production due to non availability of green fodder and rising cost of protein and other cattle feed. Most farmers, he said, have talked about a per cent dip in milk production. “It is in summer that demand for milk products like lassi, ice cream also increases, so the dairies are lying when they say demand has declined,” he said.
Amarsingh Kadam Patil, another farmer from the village of Sansar in Indapur taluka of Pune district, is equally perplexed about the sudden decision of private dairies to slash the procurement price. “Till April 15, the procurement price was Rs per litre. “The Telangana CM has brought major reforms for farmers in his home state. They provide Rs 10, per acre non-returnable funds to farmers to buy seeds and fertilizers before sowing. We had been demanding it in Maharashtra for the past several years. But the state government has ignored it. They failed the farmers. My decision to join BRS is to fight for the rights of farmers across the state and country,” he asserted.
Rao had lunch with Patil at his residence where they discussed the next course of action.
Interestingly, Islampur Assembly constituency is represented by NCP state chief Jayant Patil who has remained with Sharad Pawar faction. The farmers rally in Islampur is a pointer that BRS is trying to get farmer leaders and like-minded locals to fight established leaders in the region.
